~RENTON A CAPPELLA CHOIR BENEFIT CONCERT~

 

Who: All Renton H.S. Choir Members (all years)

When: MAY 20, 2007~ Sunday (Time to be announced)

Where: Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center or RIPAC (attached to RHS)

Why: To raise funds for Renton H.S. Excellence in Education (RHS EIE).

                RHS EIE was established in 2001 by RHS alumni, staff, parents and community

                Supporters to create an endowment and provide supplemental resources to help

                meet current and future needs for Renton High School programs and students

                

We will request the funds to be directed to the Music Dept.

 

We need to know if YOU are interested in performing in this Benefit Concert.

We need your TOTAL commitment so we can reserve the RIPAC, ASAP.

Since there is a usage fee at this location ($500.00), we are asking that ALL CHOIR MEMBERS PAY $10.00 EACH.

 

Additional donations are welcome!

 

We will be selling tickets to family and friends at $10.00 a ticket hoping to fill all 540 seats! Seating will be on a “first come first serve” basis. All monies (after the fee) will go to help our OLD ALMA MATER!!

Who better to help than all of the RHS Choir Members and their Families?

There will be more FUN, songs and rehearsals starting in Jan. 2007.

 

We’re investigating splitting rehearsals between north and south Seattle areas to accommodate as many of you as possible.

We’d like you to attend all, or most of the rehearsals, if possible. Those of you living out of the area will need to practice at home with the music provided on our website: http://rentonchoir.home.comcast.net 

 

EVERYONE: Please copy all of the music and put them into a black binder.

 

Your Choir Commitment is VERY IMPORTANT! We hope to have all of you at this Concert. We need to spread the word to All Choir Members. We hope to have the current A Cappella Choir involved as well.
